Help Wanted: President

For those few who may not know, Pace President Stephen J. Friedman will not seek reappointment once his current term ends on June 30, 2017. A lengthy selection process to select the next President conducted by the Presidential Search Committee has been going on since March. Since the search committee has been announced, they have reviewed over 100 candidates for the role.

The search for a new president is nearly coming to an end. If the timeline on the Pace website is accurate, the committee should be conducting second-round interviews and selecting finalists for extended conversations throughout December.

The finalists are expected to be announced before the end of the year. Before the beginning of Spring, the search committee will make their selection and recommend him/her to the Board.

Students can have input on the selection process also. They can contact the committee by emailing presidentsearch@pace.edu. Also, students can participate in a survey where they can provide their views of the most important traits and experiences for a successful Presidential candidate.
